What cookies are
Cookies are small files a site saves in your browser to remember something from one page to the next. Technologies such as local storage work the same way: they keep a piece of information on your device. There are session cookies, deleted when you close the browser, and persistent ones, which stay; first-party cookies, set by the site you are visiting, and third-party ones, set by others.
Strictly necessary cookies
This site uses no cookies. It saves two preferences in your browser's local storage: the language you chose (gb-lang) and whether you prefer the light or dark theme (gb-theme). They exist so you don't have to repeat the choice on every visit, they stay on your device, and they are never sent to us or to anyone else. That is why they do not require your consent.
Analytics cookies
We use Umami, a statistics tool that installs no cookies and leaves no identifier on your device: we cannot recognise you from one visit to the next. It collects, in aggregate form, the page visited, the site you came from, the browser and device type and the country, which is derived from the IP address without storing it. It tells us which content proves useful. Since it processes no personal data and uses no cookies, your consent is not required. The service is provided by Umami Software, Inc.
Profiling and marketing cookies
The site uses no profiling cookies, advertising pixels or remarketing tools, and shares no data with advertising networks. You will find no consent banner here for a simple reason: there is nothing to ask you about.
Managing cookies
You can delete whatever the site has saved on your device at any time from your browser settings: the option is usually called “Clear site data” or “Clear browsing data”. You will only lose your preferred language and theme, which you can choose again. Since we use no cookies subject to consent, there is no consent panel to review.
